About the Campaign

At Citizens’ Climate Lobby, we like to say that action is the antidote to despair. We have a plan to reach out to tens of thousands of potential new voters all across Wisconsin who share our concern about the climate and environment to make sure that they vote this year. Whether you like writing, talking to people, or supporting the people who do that, there’s a way for you to make a difference this election year.

Click the button or contact cclwisco@gmail.com to join one of our three teams below or to determine your best way to help with this vital project. By working together we will replace the news blues with friendship and fun – a better outcome for the communities and ecosystems we love.

Postcarding

We will send 20,000 handwritten postcards to registered voters who want climate action but don’t vote reliably before the August 13th primary and the November 5th general election. Research shows that this actually has an impact on voter turnout! Help write postcards, host an action party, help spread the word, or contribute postage. Learn more

Phone Banking

We can reach more people more efficiently using modern phone banking technology to call environmental supporters throughout Wisconsin and help motivate them to vote this year. You need a phone, a laptop, and a certain amount of patience to be a phone banker, and in return, you will help us reach many more people. Learn more

Conversations

There are people all around you who share your concern about the climate and elections this year. We’ll help you map your personal network and learn effective communication techniques for talking with people in your life. Through values-based conversations, you’ll help discouraged voters become motivated, informed, and ready for election day. Learn more
